hi all, was thinking about ditching my old front brakes off my hq 1 tonner as they are looking pretty worn out. What other types of front brakes can i swap them with (eg. ones from a vl)? cheers

Why not just overhaul the existing brakes. Get new rotors and new pads and overhaul the calipers if required. Piece of cake.
Alternatively you could contact Hoppers Stoppers and get one of their big brake kits although I'm pretty sure someone on here

Hi
ur best bet is to change to a full VT commodore fromt brake system my mate did the conversion to his Vn but a Hq is not a problem as well. they pull up really good at high speed.
if u got a bit of HP then its the best way to go one thing is

Overhaul them. HQ fronts work real well. And split fluid chamber system in the master cylinder is also gr8 too.
Just get new rotors or something.
