A mate of mine had a VC Commodore which he sent to the tip a while back. Before he got rid of it, he let me take whatever I wanted off it. I took the electronic ignition system, but while I was pulling the dizzy out, I accidently broke the plastic gear on the bottom. Does anyone know if or where I can get a replacement?

Cheers,
Dicko.

Should still be available from Holden, or even any good car parts place.

Holden's part number for the "kit" (a pin & the gear) was VS14627.

you may wish to get the steel gear instead of the plastic one...the steel gear can be found on the oil pump or red motor distributors.
