hi
i seen a UC torana with what looked like a 10 bolt to me did they come factory with a 10 bolt or has someone modifyed it to fit what would be the difrance in with for a UC to HR as i think it would be a heap better than the banjo i got now and would be a cheep swap

The UC 10-bolt is simply a banjo in disguise - no stronger and harder to fix. The A9X had a proper 10-bolt but good luck finding one of these. |

Those UC diffs are like a Commodore 4 cylinder diff. Banjo guts in a salsbury style housing. |

That's them. Same as a 6cyl Commodore and WB 6cyl ute/van too. Same axles too as a banjo from the same track width vehicle. I've heard that early Volvo diffs are about the right width for a HR, plus they already have 4.25" PCD and are much stronger than a |

AND if you use the Volvo diff you can keep the early Holden stud pattern as they are the same! as well as thew option of 14 or 15 inch wheels and rear discs! Matt Looking for Old Caravans!!!! especially 1950's ply ones! Thanks! Edited by user Tuesday, 28 February 2006 5:08:49 AM(UTC)
