Posted this a while ago and had no luck, so I thought i'd give it another shot. Anyone know what this little fella is?



This is a shot front on of the bellhousing (well, obviously)






These are the only markings I could find on the whole box.

I have one of these in my shed... Its an alloy case celica box! The markings you see are TTR - Toyota Team Racing. Dont get the wrong impression by those markings though - even a poorly tuned red motor will rip one of these to shreds!

Thanks Keith - found it in the shed. Are the internals compatible with the steel case box?

been a while since i crawled under my celica so i dont remember what they look like. but i thought it was a supra box.

the steel case and alloy case celica boxes internals are not compatible

The alloy supra box (W55, 57, 58 & 59) look different to that.
They are built around a vertical centre plate (like the steel case celica) and have all the gearset hanging off it, with the front & rear halves of the housing removable, leaving the geartrai

i may be wrong BUT,it looks like a ke30 late, ke70, ae71 corolla 5 speed...been a while since i wrecked jap cars and pics sometimes lie...
