I'm Interested on peoples opinion on the landau's , do you think they are becoming or going to be collectable. The reason I'm asking is that I own a landau myself with factory sunroof and have had it for 8yrs in storage as well as heaps and heaps of parts , but know find myself tiring at the thought of doing the project and on the other hand dont want to let it go. Some people say dont waste your money. What would you guys do?

I love the Landaus. They have their own cult following. They don't hold the same dollar value as a GT but then again a good example is not that cheap either. If you get sick of the car give me a yell, I've always wanted one. I'm surmising that you are

I have had two and both have been rough but ill still proud to own em.They seem to be more sort after now. There was roughly 1358 of them made,so they are be sort after. You only have to watch ebay to see the jump in prices for them and there parts.

The sunroof in this car is a manual wind back golde type , apparently there were only 4 or 5 that had been ordered with a sunroof , there are no signs that this was added later.

Very good, in that case I would either restore it or keep it for a rainy day as it is a rare car indeed, even if it is no GT.

Complete unrestored cars in good condition will be worth more in the long run than, newly restored cars. Anyone can spend buckets of money on a resto, restored cars look way too shiny for their age.
Put it back together, give it a wash and polish and e |

Easier said than done when it comes to one of these coupes. If you don't fix the cancer it will kill the car so better to have a shiny restored Landau than a dead one and I've seen way too many dead landys in my life. Old Henry made excellent looking cou

mate, I have owned a few of these cars and can say that they are increasing in value. It is guesstimated that there are less than 800 of these now left in australia from a total of 1375. A good example is worth plenty. I paid $12,000 for a elderly two own

I remember reading a report that stated there were only around 300 road regested landaus getting around (beside sheded ones), the sunroofs were a factory option .

If your landau is in good nick you would be mad to part with it.With so few made and even less still going, the prices have to go up. And besides that, which other coupes had disk brake 9 inch diff with factory traction rods, FMX, 351 4V, power windows, p

Landaus are now very collectable with only 1385 made slightly more than XB GT hardtops roughly 900. Landau 290bhp compared to GT 300bhp standard.Landaus at time of production were also 40% dearer than the GT. Landaus now have 5 star collectibility rating.

I've had my Landau since 21/1/83 it was bought for the price of $2500 and was a 1 owner. I sold a 1973 mustang to buy it and I can tell you it gets just as many looks as the stang ever did, its more comfortable to drive, handles better and in my opinion

I just bought a mint Landau coupe, 1 owner (50,000 miles) with books for $9,0000 with rwc (29.01.2007). Some prices on coupes/hardtops are severyly over-inflated. Only mint examples are worth the $$$, not rust buckets for $10 - $15k, unless they are cob
