Hoping for some idea's, I own a WB ute stock as a rock, 6 cylinder blue motor. Starts first time every time, runs fine till the electronic choke cuts out, then basically stalls every time at every intersection. Have checked the idle, timing, choke. Thinking a compression test might be next, but any advice would be handy!

Cheers

running with the choke on will give a richer fuel to air mixture when the choke comes off and it keeps stalling check to see if the if the carbie or inlet manifold is sucking air or a vacume hose has a leak

Is it auto? Vacuum hose from manifold to auto could be disconnected or loose at either end. Check all hoses connected to the manifold.

Thanks for the tip, turns out the hose from the rocker cover to the inlet manifold had perished, replaced it and seems to be running fine, thanks for the advice!
