Hi Guys , Lokking at changing the radiator in my VS 2 V6 , does the system need to be bled afterwards for air.If so whats the precedure.

Hi cloudy,
I replaced one in a VS2 a few months ago, there is a bleed screw on top of the thermostat housing. Also just do the obvious things, fill it up slowly and make sure the heater is fully on.

Make sure its a VS2 radiator as as it was threaded

The way to bleed these systems is to remove the top engine cover first.Locate the bleeddr screw (gold screw) and remove it. Remove the radiata cap and use an old radiata hose to extend the the filler hole, make sure u extend the filler higher than the ble
