Wasn't the HK/T/G crossmember removable? With 4 large bolts holding it on. like the early holdens. The HQ one is definitely fixed to the chassis. Also the hQ one is wider I think. What bolts/rims are you talkng about? The wheel rims or the disk brake disc

Dear Sally the boiler maker in Emerald or is it Elvis in Germany (with a 253) or maybe it is Erin Brockovich with the boobies.
The best way for you to identify this front end is to see the spare parts people at Emerald Holden. They are in Hospital Roa

Hi Sally, after taking a look at the piccies in other thread, I think you may have small nuts, therefore HT or HG front end, see on the lower control arms, there is a large washer and a small headed bolt, if it was the HK it should have a larger nut head |

That is very interesting. I'm glad I posted the question. Have you emailed the seller and asked what's going on. I noticed that the seller has had the ebay username of Ned bullterrier of around 6 months so I think something doesn't add up here. Edited by user Friday, 21 April 2006 7:34:09 AM(UTC)
