i recently adopted an older four speed tranny that works great mechanicaly, however the shift pattern is backwards. it's hooked up the way i found it r 4 2

does any one know how to hook it up right?

If the shift pattern is backwards but in the right order ie with the shift going from near the dash towards the back of the car or top to bottom on a column shift 1,2,3,4,N,R,P.

The easy fix is to look at the part of the linkage on the side of the bo
