i am installing a tacho in my 1992 vp and am wondering where i can connect the tacho signal wire to the car....and help appreciated..

Have a look around the passenger side strut tower at the wiring harness - there will be a single brown wire with an insulated terminal coming out of it that is generally taped back to the harness on the outside of the loom. That's the tach signal.
