Hi folks
Are there any noticeable differences on how an auto or manual mode quaddie work ? Or is it purely externals ?
Also what is a good jet mix for a Quad on a 253 ? less than 70 mains I would say.
TIA
john

Hi john.
It depends which model Quadrajet you are talking about. From engine to engine there are the obvious jetting differences, but some differ in other ways. If you require Powerglide or TH350 kickdown, the correct linkage on the side is important a |
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

Hi Dr T,
I have 2 quads now on 2 red motors. I have the correct model of carb with the correct transmission (7043284-auto and 7041281-manual).
Any ideas of jets for a 253 ? A 5 litre SLR is 70-50B-AN combo. So how small do I go from here.
Ta John
