how do you get the adjustment right. my ht brakes lock up when adjusted too much, when i back them off, the car wants swing to one side. is there any trick??????(ball joints have been replaced)

Check for oil on one of the sets of linings. if clean, you have loosened one side more than the other. tighten till wheel locks, back off 3 clicks. completely back off handbrake cable fiorst. try driving about 15 kph on a sandy or grassy surface, jam brak
