My old VN ran on gas only for years. (Turned out it was an ex taxi.) I had a 1989 conversion so it started on gas as well. Just had a manual primer that I used when starting up first thing in the morning or left for more that about 4 hours. I neve Edited by user Monday, 24 April 2006 2:36:13 AM(UTC)

There is bound to be a few of them under the bonnet Byron but they seem to be fairly rare. I think as a general rule if you are using a computer that was originally mounted inside the car then it would be advisable to keep it inside.
By the way Kevin,

The holden v6 engine from vn to vt Has a problem with the valves pulling up into the heads, this is due to the seats not being hardened. The engine had no changes made to it from factory to run on gas. The engine still runs once the valves pull up, but it

Hi Guys.
I was just going to mention BA Falcon, but also all Commodores with the Gen 3 V8 have the computer under the bonnet.
