Hi, My 302 cleveland has 4v rocker covers(according to something i read on here). I know the USA heads have a "2" or a "4" stamped on the corner but i,m not sure the AUstralian ones do, Mine has no markings externally and i cant see much with the cover off either. Engine came out of 78 auto fairlane .Any ideas would be much appreciated. I can measure the outlet ports but the info i read lists USA head dimensions and i,m told the Aust ones were not ported as big

Should be 2V. A lot of people call the XC ZH motors 4V. It even says 4V on the compliance plate. It actually means 4 venturies, as in 4 barrel thermoquad. 4V heads ended at the start of the XBs and was only available on the 351s.
