hey
i own a 1979 hz ute. red motor 1986 (been told same as VL commordore)
extractors. everything else standard except it has been changed to a 4 on-the-floor but still has original bent seat installed which is a big hassel.
i've been told that a turbo can be fitted without any major problems but its a bit pricey at the moment
does anyone know how i could get some more power out of this engine or how much a 5-speed or sports exhaust will cost

VL red motor? VL's were never graced with a Holden 6. They had a Nissan engine in them. Do you mean a VB Commodore - these had red motors. It will be easier, and cheaper to put a 308 in it, than turboing a Holden 6. |
