Can anyone tell me the coating used on hq alloy. ie wing nuts wiper motor.

Where did you find wing nuts on you HQ?? Jealous!!!! Zinc pacifate is the gold looking colour and just plain zinc is the silver looking stuff. Black bolts and screws I'm not sure about. Maybe anodised? No idea. Alloys are usually anodised (electroplating

Some is cadmium plating. What wing nuts? Battery hold down bolts? Spare wheel hold down bolt?
