I have the front end all stripped down and out of the HG Prem. Its time to replace all the bushes and I cannot think of how to get the lower control arms off!! The workshop manual says to use special tool XXX and drive the arm away from the pin. I cannot see how this would work. Any ideas?? Or should I take the entire crossmember down to pedders and get them to do it?
I really have issues with paying others to work on my car.....

Hi i see you have had no replies to your question. i have been checking your post because i have had the same problem. Now i have found a way to get them off. Do you still need help?
