Hi , im looking at buyimg a Salisbury LSD or Open centre for my car. Prefer the LSD...... I would like to know , apart from asking the seller, is there a way that i can check the diff to make sure that its o.k , oil leaks from bad seals would be ok as can be replaced i guess, but what about crown & pinion wear etc.....also , as an LSD is more complex, what should i look for when checking that kind of diff , i have a HX LSD Salisbury lined up to look at....also , whats a reasonable price for a good LSD? Thanks all.......

pretty much it is something that you need to be taught by somone who is experienced in diff repairs to know what is right and wrong...as damien said for open centered diffs is fairly easy...but slipperys are a lot harder to pick as good...if the teeth are |
