Gday all. need some advice. I got a hq handbreak in my fj holden and what the mechanic told me i need is a nylon block thats a diamond shape. He said it sat between the floof and handbrake to stop the cable from rubbing on the car floor and snapping when it went underneath the car. Can some one tell me if there is such a part and and whaT it is called. As i tried a few wreckers and they dont know what iam on about. And its the last part i need to get my Fj registered. Any help would be great.

cheers

I am amazed no one has responded to this. The there is such a block I am not sure what it is called it is a white plastic diamond shape thing with a groove along the short bit and a hole in the small end that a bolt goes through to bolt into the metal fra

cheers for the reply.
i ended up getting a purpose made nit to sit in which works better than what the nylon block would. So fingers crossed that the guys at the midland police station will pass my car or at the very less find hardly anythin to fail on.
