Though i'd post a link to a site selling a bit of local produce.

A good friend of mine has developed a programmable shift light that can be adapted to any vehicle. It's a small unit and very easy to install 3 wires - earth, twelve volt and tacho signal.

It was completely designed by him, and he even went to the trouble of having the parts injection moulded. It's a pro job, no backyard Tandy garbage here.

It also has a battery charge monitor, and an overcharging warning system (helpful when the reg busted on my CBR. Kept me from frying important bits of gear).

The weblink is here

Check it out. This is a locally designed and made product, built by someone who wants to contribute to our rides. Makes a great centre piece for a minimalist dash as well.

I've just spent the last 10 minutes browsing the site, and I must say waht a great little instrument it is.
Good to see some Aussie ingenuity at work, and he has created a great product at a pretty reasonable price.

To help your mate sell some more, m
Cheers,

Mick

Thanks Mick. I don't wanna oversell it, but he's put in the hours, for sure.

Gee - super schmick ! Very nice.

I would like 2 features to make it work for me:
(1) A rev range of 0-2500 for the old 253. OR
(2) A new motor capable of decent revs !

Just cant see the Q-E revving to 14,000 with me anywhere near it ! hehe
