Seems easy to get the buggers off whats the recomended
method to get the new one on
My first thought was to heat the inner ring but i dont want
to burn the rubber out
Also dont want to drive it on for the sake of the rear bearing
that takes the crankshaft thrust
Help!!!!! cheers Chris

Doesn't do any harm to knock them on provided you knock in the centre section to prevent damage to the rubber bit, and make sure it is lined up properly to start with, they go on pretty easy, I use a wood mallet it doesn't have enough weight to do harm.

Another way if you don't want to belt it on is to start by knocking it on as John said with a wooden mallet then get a longish bolt that will thread into the crankshaft & a large washer. Use the bolt to pull the balancer on. When the bolt bottoms out on i
