i have a HQ sedan with a 350 chev approx running 250hp (cruiser) i havent had the car long and im currently working on a few things, it has a salsbury 3.08 diff in it, which is not LSD. i dont want to put a 9" in it as im not using the car for a burnout/drag car, but would still like LSD. if someone could let me know my best options and if possible an approx cost. i am from perth.

IMHO, the toughest diff this side of a 9" is a B-W out of a VN/VP/VR/VS Commodore.

In the end a 9" LSD may be your cheapest option other than an original LSD 10-bolt. All you really have to do is get HQ-WB sedan/wagon/statesman axle tubes welded on to the 9" centre, and use stock VN V6 axles. This will leave you with Commodore rear brak

for normal driving a 9inch is not needed as factory HQ 350`s were not optioned with 9 inch diffs, why do you want an LSD ?
I sold a LSD ten bolt woth 3:08 ratio a couple of years back for $600. wreckers wanted about $900.
If its only for cruising like
