i drive an eb2 fairmont and have been having trouble with the petrol guage lately. The digital "kilometres to empty" display works and will say, for example, 300kms, but the petrol guage will be on empty, and the low petrol indicator will come up on the dash, with the accompanying "beep". After either turning off he engine and turning it back on, or after a few minutes, the guage goes back upto where it should be.
