A sad day for the tonner, but life must go on!.

I made an executive decision on the weekend, and decided to buy a new ute, as the money I was ploughing into the tonner, was not doing my business a lot of good, I bought it as a long term project, but as an everyday runner, the old girl was popping bits and pieces at an alarming rate, just at that point in its life cycle where everything is needing rebuilds again. So I went and bought a VR commodore long wheel base ex-ambulance ute, with a hard tonneau cover, which runs on dual fuel, and I made the decision because at current prices for LPG and petrol, and the rate the tonner was using fuel, it will pay for itself in the first 12 months easy. Sad to see the old faithful girl go but, I guess sometimes we have to update a bit, and at least I was faithful to the marque and bought another Holden. It was more a financial decision than anything else. If I could have afforded it I would have kept the tonner. So now I guess I will have to dhange my online name here on the forum. From now on you will know me as RussVRute, not very creative I know but its late and thats the best I can do right now! Cheers. Russ.

What about RussExAmbo!! Are you sure it's an ex ambulance. Holden have made ambulance packs since forever and most of them are never ambulances, like my Overlander. There were heaps of VR and VS stretched utes getting around new.
