hey guys, i own a mild 253 blue vh, 4 spd m21, vh commodore, problem is this, when in 1st, when the car is rocked there is a knocking sound, seems to be coming from the bell housing area...what could this potentially be...my old man said it could be at worst a big end.. it seems thought o be coing from the clutch area, but it makes no difference.the noise is when the car is only is first. it makes a similar noise when the car is started and you ease the clutch out in first...very puzzling, and yes i have checked all bolts, and they're tight. any info would be great...thanks guys

What do you mean by 'rocked'? ie when in first, when the car is rocked?? Is this 'rocked' as in pushed from side to side, with the engine off and the car in first gear??
