heard there is a dummy wire to the back of the radio for smartlock? ive got a 97 falcon outback but want to change the radio is this gonna be possible or will the car cease to continue if i do?

I don't know of any issues. If your worried about it why not just remove the stereo & see if the car starts.
Your stereo should have an earth wire, a wire that is always live (radio memory etc) a wire that is on with the ignition, a wire for the ba |
