Ive just got a 1998 Fairlane ghia,its duel fuel with 344ks on it but its got a recon motor and gearbox a bout a year ago,what kind of problem do you get with this model,thanks uppy

If it's a 6 then head gaskets about every 140,000KM & auto trans woes if ti's an 8 then the trans is the only weak link. 344,000 doesn't sound good for these engines to need replacing with a reco unless it got seriously overheated. |

thanks jim5 its a 6 and run very well Im the 2nd owner its got a new head and gearbox its in great condition and I love to drive it
