My mother drives a '89 Ea fairmont and every now and than the throttle seems to "stick" would you say, some times the accelerator peddle even pulls away from your foot, which should not happen seen as it does not have cruise control? we have checked the accelerator cable and cleaned it all there is nothing visable we can see that would make it do this. the only way we have found to stop it is to put the brakes on and stop the car and turn it complertly off. the throttle body sensor, power steering and transmition idle sensor, have all been checked and changed to no avail. if anyone has any hints or clues as to why this could be happening it would be greatly appreciated. thank you....
