hi. just wondering if sum 1 can help me out with the vin number jg65ps78872k
to me it dosnt make sense. the bloke sellin it is tryin 2 say its a gs coupe even though it starts with 65. which means falcon 500. wat is the k on the end all about?

JG65 is Falcon coupe. P is 1974 and S is March. As for the K, it's quite common on the end of the Falcon vin numbers. Coupes only came out with 3 types of vin, not including the landau which has it's own vin number.

HERES A FEW LETTERS AND CODES THAT SHOULD ANSWER YOUR QUESTION ON THE CODES.AND THE LETTER ON THE END OF THE VIN STOOD FOR ENGINE on the id plate for trim codes(B=BLACK C=CHAMOIS) (K=BROWN P=PARCHMENT) (S=SADDLE W=WHITE)
