Hi all just wondering if anyone can help me out,a couple of weeks ago my staty broke down.bought a reco modulator and and she was a goer again ,i also put a new coil in it to although the previous one was still good.My problem now is it will stall while doing 100kmh but will reststart again after 20 seconds or so.It is very annoying. When i came home from work yesterday i went to go out again about 10 mins later but she wouldnt go it would only turn over.I was wondering if maybe they sold me a faulty modulator because when the car warms up thats when i have the probs.Does anyone know anything about these modulators or am i on the wrong track. Also sometimes i hear a loud gurggling noise coming from the fuel tank.Is there a fuel filter between the tank and engine ?fogot to add its a 5.0 v8.Any help greatly appreciated.

When you say 'modulator', do you mean the ignition module, the unit on the LH inner guard. It is unlikely the reco mdule is faulty. When the car fails to start, it's a good idea to

If both the module & coil are new (or reco'd in the case of the module) then I'd be putting my money on the sensor in the dizzy.

I've seen numerous VR/VS ones kack themselves recently, so it wouldn't surprise me if the VQ one is failing.

Cheers,
