Gday Aussies,
can you guys tell me, I have a red 202 with a 5speed celica box to drop in my FJ and was curious to know if the gear stick is going to be well clear of the bench seat

my brother got a conversion for a 5speed celica box for his 186 from rod shop in castlemaine anyways he put it in his EH but had bucket seats

Which version of the Celica box do you have? They can have the shifter right at the back of the box (basically above the collar around the yoke) or where the plate for the above bolts to the box or about 2" forward of that.
