Idiots. Nearly hit some guy tonight as he stepped out in front of my car, then lectures me about giving way to pedestrians! Jesus, mate!

Happens all the time around where I live when going from a main road to a side street. Fools assuming that all cars will stop for them. I just said to him that he'd better look after himself a bit better, and to watch where he was going. This didn't go down too well, so I told him to have a coke and a smile and drove away.

Thing that bothers me is, you don't see me driving on the footpath now, do you? When people step out onto the street, would it not be the sensible thing to do to watch out for traffic.

Dickhead.

I have that prob driving the company ford past the pub on a friday or saturday night. There's always at least 1 or 2 who step out in front to flag me down, before realising it's not a cab, and then they abuse me because they have to wait longer!

Cheer
Cheers,

Mick

Unfortunately the law says that pedestrians have the right of way...not too smart is it.

Right of way or not, i'd look after myself a bit better than by just darting out unexpectedly. Stupiod thing is, he'd stopped for the car ahead of me and then walked straight in front of me. Foolish behaviour.

It's no good being in the right if you are also in the hearse...
