OK people just wondering how hard it would be to change the TH700 on a V6 to say a TH400 (or any other suggestion)in a VN commodore. I know the V6 is different from auto to manual so fitting a manual for speedway racing will be costly and the 4 speed auto an over kill for a 550m track, so I was thinking of a manulised TH400....... whats ur thoughts? As auto VN/P are more common than manuals and cheaper.

V6 autos aren't the same turbo pattern as a V8, so there's a prob to begin with.

Cheers,

"Powerglide bell housing that allows the 2 Speed Powerglide transmission to bolt directly up to the Holden V6 engines. The same bell housing is also available to bolt both the T/350 and T/400 3 Speed transmissions directly up to the V6 Holden Engine.
