Well shows what a cleanup can do. Was sorting some stuff out for the swap meet and low and behold found an EH/EJ dash with a clock in it. Forgot I even had it must have been lurking there 20 years.
I want to try it out, apart from the terminals that go around the back of it, and obviously run the gen/water/oil lights, there is a centre terminal and another just off centre. Would the centre one which is a sort of flat thing be earth and the other power ? It is a bit scungy looking would trying to run it cause damage?

Hi Johnperth.

It only needs a 12 V feed & an earth. I have fiiting instructions at home somewhere, with pictures, I will check it out tonight for you.

I know I get pedantic, but these clocks are actually FB/EK clocks, the face trim matches the speed
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Dr Terry, from my POV there is no need to apologise for being pedantic. It is always great to hear the real facts from someone who knows, and to see the erroneous myths blown away.

Thanks guys. Yes Dr Terry I was aware of the history of the clocks, I pulled this dash out of a EH Premier I wrecked to get the leather bucket seats and the radio for my EH wagon.
Not knowing better, the car went to the tip with all the chrome and fitti
