What colour did GMH paint the 307 engine used in HK & HT?
I assume it was chevy orange but a friend said he had heard red.

Hi Simmo.
All Chev V8s fitted to Holdens were painted the same HK Rocket Red as the 6 cyls & Aussie V8s. They were not painted Chevy Orange. If you look closely at some colour pictures of 307s from those days, you'll notice they even painted the exhaus |
