Anyone know the weight of a HQ panelvan with Chev engine and TH400.

I'd guess using the following:
HJ XX7 GVW = 1950kg with a 308 TH400.
Carrying capacity is 10cwt (approx 500kg).
A Chev with an alloy valley will be about the same as a 308.
So the weight dry should be around 1450kg (+/- 50kg).

The other way to do it would be to compare the weight of a 350 Deville with a 308 one, and add approx the difrference to the weight of a V8 HQ van. It would be out by a tiny bit though as the 308 Statesman would have a trimatic.
