I'm restoring my V8 engine and just wondering what might be the best paint for it. I've been told 2pak paint is ok but I was thinking heat proof paint is better. - 2 pak looks beter? - any suggestions?

Nothing wrong with the VHT engine paint. Being a Ford V8 are you painting it blue or is it a later model black block?

vht engine paint is fine if you want a general purpose finish but I would recommend etch primer base with 2 pac finish + 2 pac clear .Most top showcars use this for a high class finish.
