Hi guy's, What gain's are there in fitting twin throttle bodies to VN (SERIES 1) V6's? or is the V8 throttle body upgrade all you need? Motor is either standard or a 4.2 stroker (yet to sort it out) I'm also interested in the theory behind manifold chamber sizes etc as I have all the gear to make my own manifold (aluminium tig etc) but trying to learn more about the theory behind twin throttles, sizes and gains.
This motor is fitted to my T700 in an EH Ute. The original plan was to make it so the throttles faced up and use a SLR type scoop but I think keeping them under the bonnet is better.
Does the effort in making the twin throttle manifolds = a great gain?

twin throttles are probably not a great idea, unless there is a primary and a secondary.

if you look at a VL or VN group A manifold you will notice one throttle is smaller than the other, and i presume one opens before the other.
