My fuel gauge is consantly reading over full, i have shopped around for a new sender and fuel pick up line, but are told they are very hard to come by. What can i do, and does anyone know where i can get one from. I am planning on taking it out this avo and giving it a good clean and to check it isn't a small problem. I need to fix it soon, i am in constant fear after 250km's that im gonna run out of fuel. i have been told that i can also get mine rebuilt, but will cost about $150, i would rather get a new one though. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Pat

Hi Pat, Rare Spare do changover ones for about $80 or $90...have a look in their Online Shop. $150 to reco yours? Bloody hell...mine cost less than $55 a couple of years ago with a brand new gauge sender included. That was at AISAT in Perth. But, Edited by user Sunday, 23 July 2006 3:37:19 AM(UTC)

I pulled the sender out yesterday and tested it, works fine, so i think must be the wiring or the gauge. Will check the wiring today. Thanks for your help
