hi all; I am new to this site - love the info supplied - very helpful. Can anyone in the know tell me if the upgrade to electronic ignition from points for my standard 308 would be O.K if I was to purchase an item like this ebay item? Can't say what the ebay one is like (the link worked!) but I have a blue HEI V8 dizzy for sale if you're interested in a stock item.

Hi mick;
How much are you asking? Will it do the same job as the one in the link? I think the one that is on ebay is similar to the standard holden setup, but not sure.

I was asking $150 negotiable for the dizzy (includes cap, rotor, coil & whatever leads are on it), but make an offer.
I'm not 100% sure what the dizzy on ebay is. It could be a points one cnverted to electronic, but still using points as a trigger, or |

Thanks for your help Mick;
I am interested in your dizzy. Some photos would be great. I have done a seach on this forum and have noticed that it may be a problem with the bigger cap - but if I have to I will get a smaller rotor button and cap down the tr
