HI GUYS AND GIRLS CAN ENYBODY PLEASE HELP HAVE H.Q.WITH
RED 186 ENGINE AND TOYOTA 5 SPEED RUNNING ON L.P.G.
GOES REALY WELL, BUT HAVE A BAD OIL LEAK FROM REAR CRANK
SHAFT OIL SEAL.DOES ENGINE HAVE TO COME OUT TO CHANGE
THIS OR CAN IT BE DONE IN SITUE,ANY SUGGESTIONS ADVICE

I am afraid the best and only way is pull the motor out.

You will need to loosen the crank caps anyway to get access to the rear seal which may be graphite rope rather than neoprene. Gravity will work against you mate ! Not worth the hassle of working

Just a hint . . . . Pull the motor and gear-box out as one, its easier and faster than trying to separate them upside down. Easier to re-install too. That goes for most cars too.
