Just thought I'd start a thread members could post in each time they login.

Basically when you login, list roughly how long it has been since you worked on a car, what car it was and what you did.

For me:
About 3 hours ago put new spark plugs in my VR

WANTED: GTS rims, seats and mirrors to suit HJ.

um 1 week ago changed oil/filters greesed her up fixed my gabrell airshocks andput a tool box on tray i always have great fun working on the ute gives me great satsifaction !!!

does any one kno y gabrell stoped makeing air shocks i want a set but they

today,chased faulty hideaway headlight cover opening fault on my 69 gto...found it was the right hand vacuum actuator pot leaking...new one needed...
going to church makes you no more a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car...

pull out a 350 chev and toplader that i bought out of a mates pink hq 2dr monaro last saturday its a good motor to !!!

Hmmm, haven't touched any of my commodores for over 2 months now!

Last thing I did was fit a new towbar on the company car, and gutted the stereo so I could rig up my bluetooth kit through it, and have the sound come through the car's speakers, while m

Worked on VP 5.0L engine for my HZ on the weekend. Fitted new bearings, HQ sump and pickup, new HV oil pump, T-piece for oil pressure senders and knock sensor. Plus played around with VR 5.0L HSV Memcal binary file - adjusted speed sensor calibration for

On weekend tracked down rough running on VN Commie to a short through the coil pack boot. Chased it all day with no joy. As light was fading had another look, and was able to see lovely sparky thing from boot to coil. Replaced lead, runs much better.

Farting around with the wiper motor in the HQ last weekend. Picking up a spare one today so in the rain they might work from here on in.

yesturday replaced the power steering pump in my wb ute, just to find out it leaks. need to remove and get recond.

on the weekend replaced front and back springs and shocks, it raised my newly aquired hj gts dream machine ( or will be after many many more hours and lots more$$$$$). A good friend said I needed a hobby, now the same friend thinks I'm having a mid life c

hell its all ive done for the last 2 weeks!! raised ride hieght to pass roadworthy, fit Hurst Shifter (original was rooted), Oil change, rip stereo out of old ute & fit to new, ball joints, shockers, the list goes on!

Last job Thursday was drive 350ks to have a look at my Sandman ute body and chassis after it's been sandblasted. While I was there I pinched the 9" diff out of it to put in my HQ panelvan to run at the Nostalgia drags.

Finished putting extractors in the VR on Thursday. Sounds awesome and has a fair bit more boot. :)

Re-fitted the tailshaft to my HG and changed gearbox oil.

Tommorrow:
Replace the rear springs on mum's VS Berlina.

Interesting thread. I did some work on my car late last night.

I am a machinist by trade but I'm now working off the shop floor. The company I work for runs 3 shifts and I live just across the road from work. Last night I came back over from 6 till 10
