if theres anybody out there who has installed a new v6 into a wb ute could you please give some advice like. 1. do i need to manufacture new engine mounts.2. what v6 will fit in to a wb engine bay.3. can i run a new engine without installing the cpu and or electrical to run the efi or can i do without.4. do i need to upgrade suspension for the front for the difference in engine weights.5. is there anyone in brisbane area who would help me with the nitty grittys once the motor is put in. any advice would be great thankyou.

This has been done plenty of times before. Pat Gardiner in Moree has all the bits you need to make it all fit. Any VN-VY V6 will fit, but the later it gets the harder it is to get the electrics right. An conversion out of a manual VSII is about as late as |

does anybody know where i can get the studs for a tonnu cover at the rear of the cab with all this rain my cabs filling up with water. dont believe in silicon.

i havent put a v6 in yet because money is a bit scarce however i did mannage to find a 3.3 black. shes in but i'm having prolems with the injectors. i changed the injector rail but i'm still getting lots of air in the system i've checked every line that

can anyone advise where or who produces surge tanks i keep popping fuel pumps.

Hi adonis.
Are you running a surge tank, this is why they are used, they stop air ingestion. The high pressure pump must be supplied with 100% liquid fuel at all times, otherwise you will get air mixed with the fuel. Unless you are using a Commodore st |

no im not using a surge tank but can i run an external surge tank without replacing the old fuel tank with a commodore fuel tank.

ive ordered a surge a tank custum built for what i need for about $100. pick it up tommorrow and install it. all i need now is a lift pump will the holy blue enough.

its all in and its running fine used a standart fuel pump of a mazda bit noisy but does the job all i have to do now is make a noise buffer for the pump and small box to cover the surge tank. my next project is to get either a 253 block or a 350 chev bloc
