I want to purchase a Commodore V6 engine,automatic transmission
and computer with wiring harness for a project maybe a VR OR VS
setup, what would one expect to pay for this.

Between $500-1000 for a VS wreck at auction with either front damage, big rear hit, or rollover, but with decent km on it.

I agree with Mick, an auction is by far the best way to do it. If you don't buy a car at an auction then a wrecker will and then charge you a lot more for the engine than the car cost.

Do a bit of research first. Get quotes from a few wreck
