from a stock 308 what horse power does it produce?and what does a 253 have??manual or auto doesnt matter?

Hi 308.
It depends on the model series the engines are fitted to.
The HT to HJ 253 V8s had 185 'Gross' BHP, the HT to HQ 308 had 240 'Gross' BHP, & the HJ 308 had 250 'Gross' BHP. The later units were measured using a different method, so you can't |
