Being as how the transmission tunnel changed shape from HQ to HJ did the shape of the base for the shifter change at the same time or did the same change lever continue to WB? I have two identical change lever setups except that the lever which connects to the trans is on different sides. Why is this Thanks ...NEIL

One is for an M40 (trimatic) transmission, and the other is for an M41 (TH400) or M38 (TH350). The M40 has the shift on the driver's side. The LH shift T-bar can also be used for LH shift trimatics out of HT/G or VH-VL. AFAIK they are exactly the same fro |

Thanks Byron, I have checked with the bloke I bought it from and he confirms that he gave me the wrong one . Shame cos the locating pin on this unit was good and tight not like the trimatic one I'll have to use now .
