hi again fellow enthusiasts. I have a HZ V8 that, when at about 110kph, the needle starts to bounce. Can this be an easy fix if i pull it down or should I just go and get another one?? I would like to keep the original if possible. Thanks; Geoff

It is most likely that the nylon gear in your gearbox is worn . You will have to remove the extension housing to replace it . Cheers Shawn

The peedo head has come too close to the magnet, will need recalibrating by an instrument fitter.

IN MY PAST 59 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IV ALWAYS FOUND THAT IS CAUZED BY A STRETCHED SPEEDO CABLE, AND IF ITS STILL GOT THE AUSSIE MANUAL OR AUTO BOX, NO U DONT HAVE TO REMOVE THE EXTENSION HOUSING. EITHER A 3/8 OR A 7/16 SPANNER TO REMOVE THE RETAINING PLATE!
