Hello all,
I have the opportunity to purchase a sump to suit a V6 into an HX. Now logic tells me that being as HQ-WB 6's had exactly the same sump as LH-UC 6's (the same similarity exists for V8 sumps in these cars) that this sump would also suit the v6 into LX.
I rang V6 conversions & they told me that this sump would not suit an LX as the Torana sump was a completely different animal.
I can understand that the LC/LJ sump is completely different but the later Torana? Would he have his wires crossed or do you have to mount the V6 a long way forward in an LX?
Anyone familiar with building a V6 LH-UC?

Jim, if you don't get an answer in a week or so, send me an email & I'll forward it onto a friend who is doing a UC V6. He was a member on here a while back, and I'm not sure if he still logs in.
