i drop a 250xflow in my te cortina from a falcon but need a proper xmember to pass roadworthy what do i do?

Is it manual or Auto?
As a 250xflow were standard in the TE -The crossmembers are the same Are you using the standard box? If so the te crossmember will fit

falcon manual box. i shorten the layshaft 100mm and made an adaption plate so the shifter came up in the floor right. found a short tailshaft but cant find a xmember or any info? was a 4cyl cortina.

ok maybe you should go to CORTINA CENTRAL this has been done before.the falcon and cortina g/boxes are the same but the cortina extention housing is different so the shifter location is in the right spot as you know,they are interchangeable between both b

that makes sense now, no wonder i cant find an xmember, mounts weld to body different. my convertion from 4cyl to 6cyl is so close to finish just this little problem. didnt find much a cortina central but thanks

just get a xd xmember and cut till fits we did it and never had any probs with it
