Hello All,
Did anyone else catch that programme on channel 9 last Saturday about the development & release of the VE Commodore?

I watched it & thought it was quite interesting if a little too American style ra ra look how great we are.

Funny thing is someone mentioned a few weeks ago that the VE bore a strong resemblance to the Mitsubishi 380 well they also both have a one piece side pressing so it's not only looks that got borrowed apparently.

It does sound like a great car though overall.

lets also remember that this car was as you see it in full size clay model in 1999, and the drawings in 98, no 380`s around then!

Remeber when the XD came out and everyone complained that you could not tell the differrence between it and the VB Commodore. (What were they thinking)

The same was said about the VX and the Magna HK and XT, the list goes on.

When you get use to it
